Teenage angst has paid off well: Nirvana gets inducted to Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Nirvana were my heroes growing up. They inspired me to learn guitar, to be ambitious, and most importantly to think for myself.  So last night when they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, it assured me that I was not the only one and that this band was truly important for the impact they had on music, and on people’s lives. REM’s Michael Stipe inducted the band and present to accept the award were Nirvana band-members Dave Grohl, and Krist Novoselic; Kurt Cobain’s widow, Courtney Love; and Kurt Cobain’s family – mother Wendy…
